How To Know If You Really Are Going Bald!

Are you going bald? There are a lot of different reasons that can cause male baldness, and we here at Groomarang will show you some key indicators so you know for definite if you're losing your hair or not!

On a daily basis a man will shed around 100 hairs, this is natural and nothing to worry about. Then there is hair loss, which can be permanent or temporary; here are a number of causes:

  • Hormone disorders
  • Nutrient oversupply - too much Vitamin A

  • Cancer treatment
  • Hair products
  • Skin Disorders
  • Stress
  • Medical Conditions
  • Infections

Male baldness is most visible from the front of your scalp first (your hairline). If your hairline forms a rounded 'M' . As time a passes this 'M' turns into a 'U' or horseshoe shape.  This is more advance male baldness.

You should also check your crown for bald patches, it can be susceptible to hair loss too, and can happen there before your front hairline starts to recede. You can check your crown by using a mirror to hold above your head whilst standing in front of a mirror. 

Have you noticed a lot of hairs around? On your clothing etc. or when brushing your hair or even when you wake up on your pillow? If you're monitoring your hair loss ten keep note of how much is falling out. For example if every morning you're seeing 20 hairs on your pillow, you may have a problem.

  • Ask a barber to restyle your hair so it helps hide your bald patches!
  • Use conditioner after shampooing to help strengthen your hair.
