Good & Bad Foods For Your Skin
Some foods that we eat may be good for our body, but may cause a negative reaction with your skin, especially your face. This may cause more stress and anxiety as you may be thinking that that food is good for you. Here are different foods that are good and bad for your skin:
GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN:
- KIWI- this nutritional fruit provides vitamin C, giving a better complexion as it gives protein to the skin. Other foods like strawberries, grapefruit, papaya and peaches do the same job.
- COFFEE- this drink doesn’t just keep you awake, but it also decreases the risk of tumours from sunlight, meaning that it protects you from certain thing in the atmosphere. Green tea can also be used to improve skin quality as it increases elasticity and dryness.
- NUTS- they increase your blood levels while decreasing the level of diseases in the atmosphere travelling to you. The minerals in the nuts are like an antioxidant and helps defend against skin damage.
- FISH- Fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel and herring, are excellent foods for healthy skin. They are rich sources of omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for maintaining skin health. Omega-3 fatty acids are necessary to keep skin thick, supple and moisturized. In fact, a deficiency in omega-3 fats can cause dry skin.
BAD THINGS FOR YOUR SKIN:
- CHOCOLATE- although chocolate may make you feel better or taste nicer than healthier foods, but it leads to irritated skin and effects the immune system, resulting in things like acne.
- WHITE BREAD- this can cause reactions on the skins layer because in blood sugar and insulin. This influence stimulated oil production and causes breakout of acne. Instead of white bread, you could have quinoa, brown rice or whole rye bread.
